And a New Addition

I would like to thank Nicole at work for the permission to publicly display her photos that I took of her.  She needed some photos fast for a website.  I’m a little apprehensive showing off the pictures without permission first from the person, but today I remembered to ask her.  Keep in mind that the website that she submitted to wanted her to be without makeup and also no photoshop trickery.  Was a little challenging because I wanted to make her look the best that she could.  She still looks really good all natural, but with my personality I just wanted to bump things up a little!

I personally thought she had some good poses.  There were other photos and she did have one change of clothes.  I really wasn’t fully prepared to do her photos because I just got the soft box for the flash not even a week prior to the shoot.  Here is another from the shoot.

This weekend I’ll be shooting a family event for an old friend of mine.  Hopefully the event goes well and I will have more photos to post!

Flashing Again!

Finally finished editing the photos from the photo shoot with my patient girlfriend Jen.  This time around we did another flash shoot, but with the westcott softboox modifier with a 580ex and some Pocket Wizards.  Trying to bone up with flash for the photo shoot coming up on the 20th for a birthday/wedding anniversary.  Here are some of the shots from last night.

In the next few months I will be shooting another engagement session, a wedding and a few other portrait shoots.  I will be posting a little sample of each when the editing is completed.
